What Should Customers Know About the Tuffa Range of Diesel Dispensing Tanks?

The diesel fuel that is used in diesel engines has routine agricultural, commercial, commercial and industrial applications, which means that when many potential customers in these fields require a diesel dispensing tank, they frequently turn to Tuffa (http://www.tuffa.co.uk), a leading developer and manufacturer of fuel tanks for all manner of purposes. UK manufacture, premium quality and strength and durability have all long helped to make the company the UK's leading supplier of such tanks.

Central to Tuffa's fuel tanks offering is a broad selection of bunded fuel stations available in as small a capacity as 1350L, and in as large a capacity as 15000L. People turn to Tuffa for such tanks because they know that the firm's manufacturing is state of the art, with scrupulous attention to detail also being applied throughout. The bunded fuel stations offered by Tuffa come complete ready to use, with a hard standing flat concrete base and the final electrical connection all that is required so that the tank can store fuel in a way that is secure and complies with regulations. Indeed, such tanks are compliant with Environmental Agency Guidelines.

The features of Tuffa's bunded fuel stations include, for the 1350L, 1400L and 2500L models, a 2" BSP Fill Point with cap and chain, a Clock Gauge, a lockable hinged flip lid on outer tank, 10 micron filter and a digital flowmeter, among others. Those who invest in the 3500L, 6000L, 10000L and 15000L models benefit from such additions as a High Accuracy Contents Level Gauge, bund and overfill alarm, key switch for operating the pump, overfill prevention valve and lockable cabinet. Tuffa is also happy to discuss potential requirements for economy and biodiesel models.

Optional extras for these bunded fuel stations in the wider Tuffa fuel tanks range include the likes of 30 minute or 60 minute fire protection, an electronic contents gauge, a 12V / 24V external pump, extended delivery hose and replacement filter elements. Clients can even choose from various other colours for their tank. Such features, taken together, all help to make these bunded fuel stations as suitable as possible in agricultural, commercial and industrial settings. It is easy to access refuelling equipment from ground level, the bund contains a minimum 110% volume of the inner tank and the bunded construction also guards against the possibility of overfilling and leakage.

Finally, those in the market for diesel dispensing tanks are also likely to appreciate an in-depth selection of multi-compartment fuel stations that have been designed to be useful in pollution control. Available combined capacities of these multi-compartment tanks range from 3900L to 8800L, and they also share with the rest of Tuffa's (http://www.tuffa.co.uk) fuel tanks a broad range of other specifications, encompassing such features as fire proofing and interlinking up to 100,000 litres, in line with the exact requirements of the customer. All in all, these tanks are excellent for the storage of two different liquid types, with even triple compartment tanks being available.

Research your summer style on the streets of London!

If you live and work within even the vaguest proximity of the English capital, then you won’t need a personal stylist in London, never mind one from Shikkuu Guides (http://www.shikkuuguides.com), to inform you how hot it’s been lately. Londoners have been left sweltering in their offices and other workplaces, resulting in sleeves being rolled up, windows propped open and portable air conditioning units brought out. Inevitably, there’s been much talk as to whether the sun will last until the weekend.

But in the meantime, those lucky ones with a few moments to spare have headed to the capital’s many parks and other open spaces, or strutted their stuff on the city’s most popular shopping streets – presenting a singular opportunity for an ordinary woman or man like you to get a sense of the latest summer fashions. Whether you head to Hyde Park for a dip in the Serpentine Lido, or just make the most of shopping opportunities on Oxford Street, you’ll see a lot of shorts, skirts, short sleeves and bare, knobbly knees – but not all of the fashions on show are as embarrassing as you might think!

Whereas London in the summer is so often associated with disappointingly grey, cloudy skies, the Great British Summer really has come out in force this time – but don’t be fooled by thinking that just any old attire will do for that post-work pint. There’s most definitely nothing pleasurable about being surrounded by a load of suits in a City bar at 30 degrees. You’ll therefore have no choice but to reach into your wardrobe for T-shirts, tracksuit bottoms, shorts, dresses and more that are necessary to avoid your own session of sipping a cold, tall pint becoming a decidedly sweaty affair. And who better than a London fashion stylist to help you to decide what should be in that wardrobe?

After all, it’s the job of our fashion stylists in London to know what looks fabulous on the streets of the capital – in every area, from Clerkenwell to Camberwell, from Hackney to Hampstead, from Soho to South Bank. You might opt for a vintage sundress, navel-skimming crop top, printed silk maxiskirt, floral vintage shirt, navy chino… or any of a combination of these things. There’s so much to wear that could look great in the pub gardens, but there’s also a slight chance of your chosen garments looking disastrous on you, being too hastily chosen and inadequately suited to your shape, size and skin tone.

It’s to avoid such fashion faux pas that so many people get in touch with Shikkuu Guides (http://www.shikkuuguides.com) about our wardrobe reviews and personal shopper services in London. Get help from us to achieve your ideal look for the summer, reviewing your existing wardrobe before planning a personal shopping session, through which you can discover the perfect fashions for your body type and size, at both well-known and relatively undiscovered stores. Never again suffer a fashion disaster in London this summer!

More about the London Registrars Meeting Management Service

At a time when so many of the companies that turn to London Registrars (http://www.london-registrars.co.uk) for assistance with corporate governance are likely to be continually outsourcing services so that they can focus more on their core business, they may also be interested in the Meeting Management Service that allows them to do much the same for their meetings.

Naturally, the outsourcing of responsibility for the meetings themselves is not an effective strategy for companies that wish to retain control of core decision-making and the opportunity to project the precise nature of their brand. Nor would they often like the meetings to take place outside a “real” venue, as this could have negative effects on their business image at a time of intense competition for client custom.

There are, however, means of using an online environment to increase the efficiency and purposefulness of such “brick and mortar” meetings, in the process improving end results and boosting revenue. In 2013, more and more businesses in and beyond the capital are deviating from the traditional ‘9 to 5’, as demonstrated by the documented tendency of so many professionals to work from an alternative location amid the travel disruption of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The Meeting Management Service of company compliance specialists London Registrars has been designed from the ground up for this new reality, as it gives both public and private sector clients access to ‘real time’ information that allows them to better organise and prepare for meetings. As it consists of web based meeting support software, this virtual meeting room can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection, and provides a secure means of client communication.

All of this makes the Meeting Management Service highly suitable for a wide range of companies, organisations and committees that need to access confidential information and hold regular or formal meetings. At any time, professionals can check in to access all manner of vital meeting documents, including published notices of meetings, meeting agenda, minutes and board packs.

The full range of features of the online meeting room includes discussion, news and announcement boards, meeting workspace, document libraries, alerts, collaboration tools, web links and shared calendars and contact lists. In addition, companies can combine the Meeting Management Service with other company secretarial services, perhaps receiving help from London Registrars with such tasks as editing documents, maintaining a history of minutes and receiving meeting papers – to cite just some possibilities.

All in all, the Meeting Management Service, with or without other packages from company formations specialist London Registrars (http://www.london-registrars.co.uk), provides invaluable professional support to assist a company’s continuity and independence, all at highly competitive rates. Interested firms can call 0845 519 2101 for more information about the service.

A rundown of London Registrars’ company secretarial services for PLCs

The many benefits of a business operating as a public limited company (PLC) include access to capital, liquidity, an opportunity to make acquisitions more easily and a more prestigious profile, as well as profit and tax advantages. There are, however, also various implications, and a public limited company is as likely as any other to prosper as a result of the use of the right company secretarial services, from a firm like London Registrars (http://www.london-registrars.co.uk).

Although a PLC company secretary is vital, the decision needs to be made as to whether they are to be in-house or outsourced. Many PLCs are coming to realise the material and cost benefits of outsourcing the work performed by a company secretary, but there may be varying levels of willingness to outsource certain tasks. That’s why London Registrars can provide not only fully outsourced services, but also such services on a more ‘ad hoc’, or project-specific basis. This means that any PLC can benefit from the considerable experience, expertise and reputability of London Registrars’ company secretaries.

Legally required for any public limited company is an address where official correspondence, like court documents or HM Revenue & Customs letters, can be served. The company’s official documents, including letterheads, order forms, invoices, websites and more, must all feature this registered office address. London Registrars can provide such an address in Central London for PLCs, or a SAIL address if applicable. Also available are directors’ service addresses, which allow directors to avoid having their home addresses on the public record.

Other services that can be provided to a PLC by a London Registrars company secretary include managing meetings of the board, board committees, AGMs and general meetings, covering notice and agenda preparation and distribution. Such a professional can also ensure that in the case of a listed or traded company’s AGMs or General Meetings, key shareholders attend or appoint proxies. They can also cost-effectively manage dormant subsidiaries and case manage litigation on behalf of the company.

Many PLCs turn to London Registrars’ company secretaries for corporate governance consultancy, which makes board members aware of their responsibilities as far as the governance of their company is concerned, as well as how financial and strategic goals can be achieved. Such expertise informs good decision making. Compliance consultancy is another vital service, ensuring the company’s compliance with the law as well as, in appropriate cases, AIM rules, the Combined Code and listing rules.

Such instrumental services in areas like company compliance are complemented by the simple ability to provide advice at short notice and even interim company secretarial cover in the event of illness, maternity or gaps between the departure of one post holder and their replacement taking up office. London Registrars (http://www.london-registrars.co.uk) is available to talk to interested PLCs.

The association of Sunspel with fine merino wool

For its quality mens clothing in the US, elsewhere overseas and its native Great Britain, Sunspel (http://www.sunspel.com/us) has always subscribed to the highest levels of fabric innovation and refinement. That has been the case at least since the company was first set up by Thomas Hill in 1860, with the initial team of 500 employees proving supremely skillful with premium Lisle cotton – but if there’s one fabric that the brand has especially come to be associated with over the generations, it is surely fine merino wool.

Sheep’s wool just doesn’t come any softer and finer than fine merino wool, in keeping with Sunspel’s commitment to the most sumptuous luxury fabrics that can be worn comfortably against the skin. Indeed, it was been a part of the firm’s palette of fabrics since the 1930s, with resoundingly positive results and customer feedback keeping it there ever since. To begin with, it was used for underwear, and it’s now helping to bring a certain tactile pleasure and clean, contemporary aesthetic to knitwear heritage clothing items including roll necks, polo jumpers, cardigans and many more.

The company’s Fine Merino Roll Neck, for example, can be specified in Black, Light Navy or Camel and channels the spirit of Steve McQueen’s Bullitt, very much being inspired by classic ‘60s style. For this item of luxury mens clothing, Sunspel’s fabric experts made use of the unique Q13 fabric, which is premium fine-gauge merino wool from New Zealand that stands for exceptional softness and luxury, having been dyed after it was knitted. The firm’s Fine Merino Wool Cardigan, meanwhile, is not only crafted from 100% finest merino wool but also nicely complements a shirt and tie or one of the company’s Riviera classic polo shirts, thanks to its timeless six-button design with ribbed hem and cuffs.

Fans of Sunspel’s merino wool can also choose the likes of the Fine Merino V Neck Jumper that makes a nice sophisticated pairing with a classic fit Chino, while there are even socks available in merino wool in styles that add some real character to an understated outfit. Also represented in the wider Sunspel British clothing range are high performance Q10 Merino Wool Leggings that help those in extreme cold to stay warm and dry. Smoothness against the skin is ensured by the fine merino wool fibers, which also wick sweat away and ward off odors.

Items like the latter show that fine merino wool offers greater versatility than might be imagined. After all, even polar explorer Ben Saunders was inspired by Q10’s lightweight quality and high performance into developing a selection of Sunspel merino base layers especially for his 2011 solo expedition to the Geographic North Pole. Despite being at the forefront of the earliest cotton underwear and T-shirts, Sunspel (http://www.sunspel.com/us) has always been committed to woolen underwear, and fine merino wool retains an integral role in its wider British menswear.

The Technologies Behind Your Acctim Clock

Acctim, being one of the best known and most trusted brands of alarm clocks around, have made it their business to develop and use the latest technologies available in their exciting range of clocks. At Ryness (http://www.ryness.co.uk/) we are sure that our customers of LED light bulbs who are used to our expertise in the lighting business will appreciate the equal expertise shown by this brand in their own field. Here we would like to focus on three different types of time keeping technology and how Acctim have utilised them.

Quartz Technology is the product of continued work through the ages to improve the accuracy of timekeeping, using the resonating nature of the quartz crystal to provide a constant electronic signal which is ideal for keeping time. The first time keeping piece using quartz technology was created in 1927 and today it is the world’s most widely used time keeping technology due to its accuracy and inexpensive nature, it is featured in many computers as well as clocks. For just £9.99 reduced from £11.99 we have the Acctim 160mm Button Wall Clock with quartz movement technology. This stylish clock features a spun metal dial, metal case and built in stand, its smooth finish and no fuss look would be at home in any school or business premises.

As well as utilizing the latest time keeping technologies, Acctim clocks have also created one of their own, developing and patenting the intuitively clever ‘Smartlite’. This eco-friendly electricity or battery saving feature switches on a gentle back light when your room is dark so the clock can be seen, then automatically turns it off when it’s light. The Acctim Smartlite Sweeper Alarm Clock (£24.99) has this handy feature as well as non-ticking sweeping second hand and crescendo alarm. As does the Acctim 13253 Smartlite Travel LCD Alarm (£11.99) which also has snooze and an extra bright back light for easy viewing.

Radio controlled clock technology is now used in all kinds of time keeping devises from wall and desk clocks to travel alarms and beautiful wrist watches. Their accuracy cannot be denied for they’re always right. As long as they are in working order they display the correct time down to the exact second, they achieve this by having a radio inside which receives a signal direct from an atomic clock situated elsewhere. The Acctim Millau Radio Controlled Travel Alarm (£7.99 reduced from £12.50) uses this technology and is available from Ryness. It has full automatic setup so it will be ready to use as soon as the batteries are inserted and also automatically adjusts for summer/winter time changes.
As you can see, Acctim has an array of inventive time keeping devices to suit all needs which we at Ryness (http://www.ryness.co.uk/) think reflects our own innovative nature. They are specialists in their field as are we with our unrivalled variety of LED light bulbs and other cheap lightbulbs available across the UK.

Do you stick you chewing gum under your desk!

Yuck! You do not, do you? Well more us do than you may think. The office desk is an extremely popular place for chewing gum storage.
At offic1web we sell lots of desks, small desks, large desks, home desks and executive desks. They are, apparently, all equally susceptible to a chewing gum attack at some stage throughout their existence.
Rumour has it that President Obama found some of Geroge Bush’s stale chewing gum underneath his office desk in the Oval Office. What was he doing under the desk you may ask? We can’t answer that one.
We were discussing this very fact in office1web today when we began to wonder if our new Taoiseach found any stale gum underneath his new office desk. Surely Brian Cowan must have slipped the odd piece of gum under the desk during one of his fractious meetings with the IMF. Perhaps he stuck a bit of Hubba Bubba under his desk? We bet he did!
We have now set about investigating as to whether or not the underside of Taoiseach Kenny’s office desk is clean!
Well as with everything, there is a study! Apparently 47% of office desking have chewing gum stuck to the underside! At least you know where to go if you’re stuck for a bite to eat or have to freshen up that stinky breath!
Let us know if you stick your used gum underneath your office desk. At office1web we love office desks and we hope you do too! If you have a dirty office desk why not buy a new one right here!

Which office chair is right for you?

seating is another vital element of the right office furniture, not only because most office workers spend so much time seated but also because poor seating can cause serious back problems and repetitive strain injuries. When it comes to office chairs, take the time to consider which of the many styles are right for you so that you find the most suitable - and comfortable - option.

Let’s take a look at the different types of office seating available. First there’s the standard Typist Chair which has no arms and a small back rest. These are great when you’re on a budget as they’re some of the cheapest chairs around and they’re also good for mobility as there are no arms to bash into things. The so-called Operator Chair is very similar but has a longer chair back and therefore a little more support for the back and there’s also the option of having arms for those people who like somewhere to lean their elbows.

Stepping up a rung of the ladder, there are Executive Chairs or Managers Chairs. As you may expect, these tend to be a bit more expensive and a bit more impressive! These often come with full backs which offer more support so are not just for managers! You’ll find leather chairs and padded options for these higher spec Executive Chairs too.

If you’ve already suffered a back injury or perhaps just want to improve your posture, then there is office seating especially designed to protect your spine and your posture. And don’t forget the importance of quality chairs for your meeting rooms, reception areas, clients and guests. Take a browse through our entire range of office chairs and make sure the one you choose ticks all the right boxes!

Sunspel’s truly 21st century craftsmanship

When a new or existing customer pays a visit to one of Sunspel’s (http://www.sunspel.com) much-feted stores in Shoreditch or Soho, or for that matter takes in the entire range available online, they are likely to notice a unique combination of recent technology and timeless, durable style. However, whether they are examining one of the company’s classic polo shirts, T-shirts, underwear or an entirely different product, a certain high quality craftsmanship should also not escape their notice.

Such craftsmanship is evident in the little details of a Sunspel product’s technical specification, but will always be most obvious to those who actually wear the brand’s luxury clothing on a daily basis. Sunspel, after all, very much stands for a highly wearable, everyday luxury with its extensive collection of basics. These items, also encompassing the likes of knitwear, sweats, trousers and sleepwear, are assured of their character in large part by British skills and techniques that can be traced back to the earliest days of the present Long Eaton factory.

Sunspel has never allowed its British clothing to be produced in a manner that betrays its roots, with both young and old workers at the Nottingham premises not only respectful of time-honoured methods, but also continually enhancing these with new levels of technical expertise. They are greatly assisted in this by Sunspel’s collaborations with international experts that have become a particular hallmark of its product ranges of the early 21st century. The brand’s own employees therefore espouse the finest in creativity and innovation as they strive to preserve the special quality and uniqueness of each new garment.

Since its 1860 establishment, Sunspel has unwaveringly asked itself – beginning with company founder Thomas A Hill – how it can make comfortable, durable and simple clothing in a revolutionary way. Although its raw materials may be sourced from around the world, its innovation with fabric structure to produce constantly relevant heritage clothing remains firmly British. An attention to detail marks Sunspel clothing of all types, with fabrics being relentlessly refined and perfected in addition to the most intricate aspects of design and fit.

Wearers of Sunspel’s quality clothing have repeatedly spoken of forgetting that they are even wearing it, such is its everyday comfort. One truly noticeable benefit, however, is a boost in confidence that only comes from the knowledge of wearing clothing that is supportive and well-presented and that allows a person to express themselves. It leads Sunspel (http://www.sunspel.com) to continually expand its legion of admirers, joining the writer, broadcaster and cultural commentator Robert Elms, who in reference to Sunspel clothes, once said: “I like clothes much more than I like fashion. I like clothes for their own sake, divorced of any context or subtext”.

Home Working Essentials

It’s winter out there. And with winter comes snow and with snow usually comes a virtual standstill across Britain’s road, rail and underground networks. From leaves on the line to the wrong type of rain, there always seems to be a problem when we’re commuting to and from work. Even when there’s no planned engineering works, accidents on the motorway or problems with public transport, commuting is hardly fun. Perhaps that’s the reason more and more people these days are working from home. If remote or flexible working is something you’re contemplating, you´ll need a home office and at Rebel Office Supplies (http://www.rebelofficesupplies.co.uk) we can help.

The likelihood is, you probably already have a laptop and a mobile so here’s a list of some of the other essentials no self-respecting home office should be without:
Desk and Chair
If you’re happy to work standing up whilst holding your laptop in one hand and your mobile in the other, you’re probably the sort of person who enjoys commuting and home working might not be for you! If you´re not, you´ll need a desk and a chair. Our office furniture range will supply you with just what you need.
Stationery
The paperless office never really caught on as any casual glance around the modern business will tell you. And it’s the same in the home office. You’re going to need a good supply of pads and paper as well as pens and highlighters, all of which can be found in our office stationery range.
Printer Supplies
You’re probably going to want a printer and whilst we don’t sell the printers themselves we do sell their essentials.  A look at our range of ink and toners will show you all you’ll need.

Files
Once you’ve printed off a few documents you’re going to need to put them somewhere and the longer you work from home the more the paperwork piles up. Luckily, at Rebel Office Supplies we have all the filing solutions you´ll need. Of course if the documents are confidential you may want to destroy them rather than file them and our shredders can help you do just that.
Accessories
There are a myriad of office accessories to choose from and you´ll need to decide what is right for you. If you’re producing presentations, for example, you may be interested in our binding machines. Maybe you´ll just need a stapler (don’t forget the staples!), a hole-punch and a calculator.

Whatever you choose at Rebel Office Supplies (http://www.rebelofficesupplies.co.uk), our range of office supplies has it covered. Home working is on the increase – no wonder when there’s no commuting and there’s no office politics!
