To celebrate 50 years of Bond style, dress like the man himself

Who could be more quintessentially British than Bond...James Bond? Luxury British clothing brand Sunspel (http://www.sunspel.com) is offering you the chance to dress like the debonair and dashing secret service agent himself. To celebrate 50 Years of Bond’s Style at the Barbican, Sunspel has recreated Sean Connery’s iconic pale blue shorts as worn in the 1965 film Thunderball, complementing the Bond inspired Riviera Polo and T-Shirt range which are already classics of the Sunspel range.
Sunspel has a long history of collaboration with the co-curator of the Barbican’s upcoming comprehensive James Bond exhibition, Lindy Hemming, so the mens underwear label (iconic in its own right) was thrilled when she asked them to recreate one of the most memorable of Bond’s style statements. The pale blue shorts worn by Sean Connery elevated Bond from star of the silver screen to style icon and with the help of Lindy’s vast archive of Bond research and memorabilia, Sunspel set about painstakingly recreating the shorts by hand in the heritage clothing label’s own factory which dates back to 1860. Weeks of meticulous designing, stitching and hand finishing has culminated in the creation of Sunspel’s blue Bond shorts, sure to be a summer must-have for any lover of cinema and style.
For a limited time only, British menswear designer Sunspel is offering you the chance to win a pair of these cinematically cult shorts, along with one in every colour in your size of their James Bond inspired Riviera Polo and T-Shirt range. For a chance to dress like Bond this summer, go to the Sunspel website at http://www.sunspel.com, where you can purchase the range and – for a limited time only – enter the competition and be in with a chance of winning a piece of cinema history.
